From Potential to Impact

Have you ever walked into a room and felt underestimated?

Too young. Too old. Too quiet. Two new. Two inexperienced.

If you can relate, please join me for this week’s message.

I know I have felt this way.

When I was in my 20s, I looked like a teenager!

Now things have reversed and in many settings, I’m now the old guy!

I want you to know that God has put so much potential in you, regardless of your age or experience.

He has given you gifts.

Now the ball is in our court, and we need to cultivate that potential and turn it into big-time impact.

Let’s discover how!

Blessings,
Pastor Thom

Five Dangerous Prayers that Change Your Heart

Have you ever noticed that some prayers are “safe” and some are “dangerous”?

Safe prayers are the ones that we pray without really thinking – like, “Lord bless my day.”

“Help everything to go smoothly.”

“Keep traffic light and the coffee strong!”

Nothing wrong with those prayers! But then there are dangerous prayers.

The ones that don’t just ask God to change our circumstances – they ask him to change… us!

If you sense that there is a part of you that may need to change, please join me for this week’s message.

Let me offer five short prayers that look simple on the surface, but are spiritually explosive!

Blessings,
Pastor Thom

From Examination to Transformation

So many times in life we can sense that something is off, but we’re afraid to take a closer look at it. Yet, when you discover what is wrong and you’re able to correct it, then you’re grateful.

Kind of like when you have food stuck in your teeth and finally a loved one points it out to you. And your response is, “Thank you for letting me know!”

Please join me this week to learn how God guides us to look at ourselves so we can improve.

Spiritually, we can get stuck. In those moments, the Bible calls us to invite God to search, test, reveal, and lead us.

We then can discover that His examination is never meant to shame us… Only to shape us!

Pastor Thom

Wonderfully Made

So many of us struggle with negative self-talk. Perhaps you have caught yourself saying under your breath something like, “I’m too slow.” “I’m not good enough.” “I’m outdated.”

If you can relate, please join me for this week’s message.

But once you find out what God thinks about you, I’m telling you, your perspective is going to change.

We’re going to find out that when God made you, He stepped back and said, “Wonderful!”

Fully Known, Fully Seen, Fully Loved

It’s so easy in life to be going through a challenging season and to think that God has forgotten us.

Do you ever wonder if God is really there for you? If so, please join me for this week’s message – I think it will help.

However, Psalm 139 tells us a different story. God sees us, searches us, knows the parts of our life that we’re proud of and the parts we would just like to avoid, but God doesn’t ever walk away or turn his back.

He’s up close and personal, literally holding us up with His hand.

Let’s discover how God doesn’t just watch us, but he cares for us.

Blessings,
Pastor Thom

Jesus warned us ahead of time that we would have trials and troubles and suffering.

No matter where you are at on your faith journey, God wants to give you new eyes to see from his perspective. He loves you too much to ever waste a pain.

In fact, He has a redeeming purpose in every pain. Seeing with new eyes empowers us to endure, to make it through.

Let’s get you some new eyes today!

Blessings,
Pastor Thom
