Many of us allow our painful past to define our future. There is a prayer in the Bible that reminds us that God delights in using ordinary people who simply depend upon him.
This week, I’d like to share how God uses ordinary people – Like you and me – to serve His purpose AND receive His blessings.
God is still looking for people who will trust Him enough to ask for His blessing, His expansion, His presence, and His protection with the right motives.
This prayer we will look at is not a formula to get what we want; it’s an invitation to become all that God wants us to be.

Many of us can get frustrated because it seems like God isn’t moving. We pray, we wait, we trust, and wonder if anything is happening.
If you ever feel like God hasn’t been there when you need him, I think this week’s message will help.
I want to encourage you that God is always at work and he’s always right on time.
God has a vision for your life, a purpose for your life, and He also has His own timetable.
Just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean He’s not working!

All of us are so surrounded by noise… News, social media, financial pressures, political arguments, endless notifications, and daily distractions.
If it ever seems too depressing, to frightening, too overwhelming… Just plain too much, then I think you’ll find peace in this week’s message.

However, God invites believers to rise above the noise, and to live from a Heavenly perspective.

How are you building your life? Maybe a better question is, “What are you building your life on?”
If you ever feel uncertain about what the foundation of your life is – Image, Money, Popularity, Possessions, Pleasing people, Prestige, etc. (Most of us have) – Then this week’s message is for you:
This is what I know. Jesus wants you to thrive, not strive!
The challenge can be that there are so many things that are contending for our attention!
Jesus also reminded us that we will have storms in our lives.
He was crystal clear. He didn’t say, “If we will have storms,” he said, “When we have storms!”
I want you to be rooted, built-up, and not ripped off, when the storms come!
